Before entering the tax profession, Zach spent 10 years as an EMT, developing the critical thinking and problem-solving skills that shape his client service approach. He is also a licensed private pilot with a passion for precision and discipline.

Over the past two years as a professional tax planner, Zach has helped generate more than $10 million in documented tax savings for business owners and individuals through advanced tax planning strategies, entity structuring, and proactive financial guidance.

His focus is not simply on preparing tax returns, but on helping clients make informed decisions that create lasting financial benefits.

As Chief Operating Officer of Amatore & Co., Zach oversees firm operations, strategic growth initiatives, client advisory services, and the implementation of innovative tax planning solutions.

Rick Firestone

Rick brings decades of experience, dedication, and hometown values to the clients he serves. Raised on a small grain farm in Columbiana County, he learned early the importance of hard work, integrity, and building lasting relationships.

After graduating from Crestview High School, Rick earned his Accounting degree from Youngstown State University and began a career that would span more than four decades in public accounting.

Rick spent 25 years with Himes & Hack on the west side of Youngstown, gaining extensive experience in tax preparation, accounting, and business advisory services. In 2003, he fulfilled a lifelong goal by opening his own accounting practice in Columbiana, where he became a trusted advisor to individuals, families, and business owners throughout the region.

Known for his approachable style and commitment to client service, Rick takes pride in helping clients navigate financial decisions with confidence.

Outside of the office, he is an avid golfer, dedicated sports fan, and enjoys spending time with his many wonderful friends and the community he has proudly called home his entire life.

Christian works closely with individuals and business owners to help them better understand their tax situations and identify opportunities to achieve their financial and business goals.

With a background in client service, sales, and business development, Christian is passionate about building strong relationships and providing clients with a personalized experience. Whether he is assisting with tax planning, preparing returns, or helping clients navigate complex tax matters, his focus is always on clear communication and practical solutions.

As General Manager, Christian also helps oversee daily operations and works alongside the Amatore & Co. team to ensure clients receive exceptional service throughout the year.

Outside of the office, Christian enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, studying the Japanese language, attending sporting events, and spending time with family, friends, and his pets. He believes that trust, communication, and genuine relationships are the foundation of great client service.
